Overview

My Great Beginnings Learning Center is looking to hire two 3's teachers to meet the demands of our waiting list. We are fortunate to have families that support and spread the word about the great experiences their children have at My Great Beginnings. As a childhood educator in our school, you will be able to make a profound impact in children's lives and support families with multiple children in our care.

We provide a well-prepared and diverse curriculum in which teachers can add their own twist to tap into their creativity. You will enjoy the team here because our teachers are dedicated, fun-loving, humble, and value the relationships they have with peers and students.

• Organizes and provides developmentally appropriate early childhood learning experiences, adding personal creativity to the provided curriculum.
• Uses the provided curriculum to create activities and opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem solving appropriate to developmental levels and learning styles.
• Supervises children in the classroom; provides a supportive and encouraging environment in which children can learn and practice appropriate individual and group behaviors.
• Interacts with parents professionally; maintains open and cooperative communication with parents and families, encouraging their involvement in the program and supporting the child's family relationships.
• Provides activities for children that encourage healthy growth.
• Maintains strong classroom management skills and a positive learning environment.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of peers.
• Maintains classroom discipline as needed and applies applicable safety procedures.
• Creates a loving, supportive, and caring environment for children.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• Ability to clear a state background and fingerprint check.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification.
• 3+ years of experience working with children in a classroom setting is desirable; we will train the right candidate.
• Caring and nurturing attitude towards children.
• Exemplary punctuality and dependability.
• Team orientation and collaboration.
