Plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive program of guidance, including counseling services to the school assigned.

Use a planning process to define needs and priorities of the population served.

Provide a proactive, developmental guidance program for all students to maximize personal growth and development.

• Master's Degree in guidance and counseling
• Valid Texas Teaching and Counseling Certification

• Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and career development.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and intrapersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret policy, procedures and data.
• Demonstration of counseling and guidance leadership.
• Ability to assist with instructional programs and teaching effectiveness.

Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching and/or counseling experience preferred.
