Specialist, District Student Data;

Primary Purpose

Responsible for the development, implementation, training and support of the Skyward Student System to ensure compliance with applicable local policy, state and federal laws and regulations.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, data analysis, mathematics, or a related field, preferred.
• Special Knowledge/
  
  Skills:
  
  Knowledge of Skyward Student System; extensive knowledge of database, word processing and spreadsheet programs (Microsoft preferred); knowledge of Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS); strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to create technical documentation and procedures.
• Experience: Two (2) years minimum in technology‑related experience training education staff;
  Five (2) years minimum in technology support.

• Tools/Equipment Used:
  Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals.
• Posture:
  Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
• Motion:
  Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching.
• Lifting:
  Occasional light lifting and carrying (15-45 pounds).
• Environment:
  May work prolonged or irregular hours.
• Mental Demands:
  Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress.

Pay Grade: AP102.

Days/Contract Status: 230 Days/Exempt - Non-Contract.
