Responsibilities
  • Perform Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) Analysis and prepare drainage reports.
  • Investigate stormwater and floodplain problems, and formulate and evaluate alternative solutions.
  • Design storm water conveyance systems, impact mitigation, and flood control measures.
  • Evaluate and rehabilitate existing drainage systems.
  • Prepare construction documents, including reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Project Engineer – Roadway and Bridge
  • Design/Manage roadway and bridge projects, assist in right-of-way acquisition, utility relocation, and construction.
  • Perform and review roadway, traffic, and bridge designs.
  • Prepare construction documents, including reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and 2 to 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of a valid Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate issued by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred, if not, a commitment to actively pursue PE licensure through appropriate training and exams.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and/or Open Roads.
