WORK SHIFT DAY (United States of America) WORK SCHEDULE No Schedule {8}SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Performs complex technical work such as the design, manufacture and operation of structures, machines and systems with emphasis on polymer extrusion processes under broad supervision and guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED- Lifting -- Not to exceed 50 lbs. – local practice may apply.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and five years related experience with emphasis in polymer processing, extrusion and operations.
- Ability to apply analytical skills and scientific technical principles in problem solving and development in order to meet the needs of a medical device manufacturing organization.
- Demonstrated experience with extrusion process development, optimization and troubleshooting.
- Experience identifying, evaluating, and implementing new manufacturing technologies or equipment to support continuous improvement is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Working knowledge of United States and international standards as applicable to the department.
