Job Overview
Job Summary The Equipment Coordinator I at Primoris Energy Services is responsible for assisting in the efficient management, tracking, and maintenance of company equipment, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with safety standards.
Job Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of all equipment, including location, condition, maintenance history, and utilization.
- Coordinate the scheduling of equipment for projects, working closely with project managers and field teams to meet operational needs.
- Assist with equipment inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and issuing equipment and supplies.
- Facilitate equipment repairs and preventative maintenance, liaising with internal maintenance teams or external vendors.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety regulations.
- Support the transportation and logistics of equipment between job sites and company facilities.
- Prepare and submit reports related to equipment status, usage, and maintenance costs.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in equipment coordination, inventory management, or a related field, preferably within the energy or construction industry.
- Basic understanding of heavy equipment and machinery.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
