The Clinical Coordination Specialist supports students by coordinating all field experiences and partnering with Managers, Clinical Relations and program/local leaders to identify partners for evidence-based learning opportunities. The role represents the university to agencies, students and the community through field experience scheduling and stakeholder relationship management.
Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Relations, and with a dotted-line to the program/location leader, the individual must be a highly motivated team player who can share creative solutions and work in a matrix environment.
- In collaboration with colleagues and leaders, research and manage relationships with agency sites for student field experiences and for Chamberlain University to evaluate the experience and site.
- Provide oversight for clinical affiliation agreements by attaining contract signatures and leading in developing, renewing, or terminating contracts with partner sites.
- Manage relationships with existing agency partners to ensure student and site satisfaction and successful field experiences for students.
- Serve as the first point of contact for faculty, students and partners regarding field experiences; escalate concerns to program/local leadership as applicable and report issues to managers and national teams.
- Coordinate and attend events including the Clinical Partner Summit and consortium meetings as directed by leadership.
- Maintain innovative partnerships with site points of contact and leadership to ensure strong working relationships and increase inventory when needed.
- Maintain knowledge of Chamberlain University’s curriculum and programs and articulate them clearly to stakeholders.
- Participate in academic planning and scheduling for students by monitoring inventory and securing adequate inventory.
- Complete work in a timely manner, including preparing, documenting, and tracking assignments; perform real-time data entry into Chamberlain’s systems of record to ensure accurate national reporting of inventory.
- Extract data from systems of record and partner-specific CRM systems for stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage Chamberlain University’s compliance and partner-specific requirements.
- Ensure completion of site evaluations.
- Support student journey through consistent, timely and proactive communication with key stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 3+ years of business development and/or relationship management experience required.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication and Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Preferred knowledge of or experience in the healthcare field.
- Self-starter able to complete tasks efficiently and independently.
In support of pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position is between $38,894.07 and $70,391.61. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors allowed by law, such as experience, training, geographic location, licensure and certifications, market factors, departmental budgets, and responsibility.
