As a Pharmacy Technician
, you’ll play a key role in supporting the pharmacist and ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient medication services for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and manage patient and prescription data accurately in pharmacy systems
- Prepare medications including counting, measuring, labeling, and packaging
- Assist with insurance adjudication, prior authorizations, and refill requests
- Support prescription processing and work directly with patients and providers
- Handle transactions, collect payments, and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records on prescription activity and inventory
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment
- Identify and report safety risks, equipment issues, or compliance concerns
- Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure smooth operations
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED
- Active Registered Pharmacy Technician (Texas) and CPhT certification
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient care and safety
- Preferred: Retail or pharmacy experience (1+ year)
