This full-time, part
-time, or PRN home health position, based in Pearland, TX, is for licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists providing pediatric home health services. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy in the home setting. The clinician will collaborate with families and caregivers, educate them on treatment strategies, and update them on progress toward functional goals.
Documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes is required to ensure regulatory compliance and continuity of care. The role also involves coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support integrated, family-centered care.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy with a focus on pediatric Rehabilitation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Patient Care and Home Care, including family education and safety in the home environment.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine relevant to pediatric conditions and therapeutic interventions.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
- Previous pediatric or home health experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and healthcare teams.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to patient homes in the Pearland, TX area.
