Job Summary:
This position provides comprehensive human resources and administrative support across all plant locations. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and leadership, supporting recruiting, payroll reporting, and employee communications. The position ensures consistency in HR processes, timely reporting, and effective coordination across all facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Employee Support & Communication- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions and general HR.
- Resolve employee needs or questions that require access or resources beyond the HR Generalist role.
- Manage and respond to incoming calls from recruiters and general HR inquiries.
- Process salary leave requests including PTO and vacation tracking.
- Support recruiting for key positions as needed, including resume review, initial prescreening, interview coordination, and participation in interviews.
- Attend job fairs and career events for all facilities to support recruiting initiatives.
- Coordinate and distribute evaluation materials and ensure timely completion and return.
- Compile and generate hourly employee payroll reports for all plant locations.
- Process timesheets during holidays or weekends when early payroll completion is required.
- Prepare and report HR metrics and operational reports for leadership across all plants.
- Ensure all employees receive W-2 forms and coordinate mailing to former employees.
- Conduct EOS departmental meetings and assist with tracking departmental priorities and action items.
- Create, update, and maintain SOPs, SWIs, and policies for HR functions.
- Attend ADP and HR webinars for ongoing education and compliance updates.
- Ensure compliance with internal HR processes and documentation standards across all plants.
- Provide backup support to the HR Generalist for all plant locations when needed.
- Assist with various HR and administrative projects to support operational efficiency.
- Maintain strong collaboration with leadership, HR, payroll, and operations teams.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in HR, payroll, office administration, or operations support.
- Multi-location or manufacturing environment experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of payroll processes, HR practices, and recruiting coordination.
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (ADP preferred).
- Strong organizational, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across different plant locations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
