Customer Excellence Manager

The Customer Excellence Manager is responsible for overseeing customer service operations across the SCI, CPK, SCCP, and SC divisions. This position provides leadership and direction to the department, ensuring effective service execution, customer focus, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Customer Service Department by establishing and implementing department goals, managing projects, and overseeing department activities.
• Lead and develop the Customer Excellence team across multiple divisions.
• Drive customer satisfaction, service performance, and operational efficiency.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, Inventory, Planning, Operations, and other departments to ensure exceptional service execution.
• Monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Support revenue growth initiatives while maintaining high service standards and customer focus.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, customer service, customer operations, sales support, or related role.
• 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or progressive management position required.
• Previous experience within chemical distribution, chemical manufacturing, or chemical packaging sector preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office programs preferred.
• Experience with Chempax, SAP or other ERP systems used within the chemical or distribution industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations related to hazardous materials (Hazmat) shipping and handling preferred.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Strong aptitude for reviewing operational data, managing budgets, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining high accuracy under pressure.
• Proven ability to build effective working relationships across all organizational levels and manage cross-functional teams.
• Flexible, decisive, and comfortable managing multiple shifting deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced industrial environment.
