Extrusion Operator

Work Shift: DAY

• Assists in operating, maintaining and troubleshooting extruders, blenders, cutters, pullers, water baths, and various extrusion equipment.
• Processes various documentation such as work orders.
• Assists in the implementation of new products and equipment.
• Contributes to meeting department goals and operational metrics.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• Not to exceed 50 lbs. of lifting (local practice may apply).

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma and one year of related experience.
• Knowledge of the operation of extruders, braiders, pullers, cutters, dies, etc.
• Self‑motivated and possesses good judgment to maintain high quality while achieving quantity.
• Recognizes problems and makes adjustments to the equipment.
• Performs repetitive tasks well and follows instructions.
• Reads, writes, performs mathematical calculations and follows procedures.

• Eye‑hand coordination
• Quality inspection
• Computerized test equipment operation

• Multiple shifts and hours:
  Days, Swing (Evening), and Nights.
• Medical/Dental and other insurances (eligible after 30 days).
• Low‑cost onsite medical clinic.
• Two onsite cafeterias.

Infectious Control Risk Category III:
