WHY MERIT?

• Carrying and/or moving items that may weigh up to 50 pounds.
• Writing, sitting, standing, bending, visual acuity, color perception, depth perception, reading, and field of vision/peripheral.
• Fine motor skills, noise, chemical vapors, soldering fumes.

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma and one year of related experience.
• Knowledge of the operation of extruders, braiders, pullers, cutters, dies, etc.
• Self‑motivated with good judgment to maintain high quality and quantity.
• Ability to recognize problems and make adjustments to the equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks well and follow instructions.
• Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations and follow procedures.

• Eye-hand coordination.
• Quality inspection.
• Computerized test equipment operation.

Risk Category III indicates employment and procedures that do not require exposure to blood or body fluids while performing their jobs.

• Multiple shifts and hours to choose from:
  Days, Swing (Eve), and Nights.
