Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 12-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of cath lab experience and the ability to take call.

• Active TX or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Minimum 1 year of recent specialty experience required
• Experience with procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, PTA, Stenting, Impella, IABP, Peripheral Angiograms, PPM, ICD, EP studies, some IR procedures, Thrombectomy, Laser, and Directional Atherectomy
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 5 recovery bays and 8 FTE staff
• 1:1 patient ratio in procedural rooms and 1:5 in recovery
• Day shift schedule, 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM, 8-hour shifts
• Uses GE/Philips equipment with Meditech and MERGE EMR systems
• Floating to Interventional Radiology (IR) may be required
• On-call responsibilities of one week per month
• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab setting
• Best suited for candidates with a relaxed, laid-back personality fit
• Navy scrubs provided as part of the dress code
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
