• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares (e.g., cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) meat products according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains commitment to operational excellence; keeps work area clean and compliant with company policies; ensures quality and date control for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored according to policies.

  Values the member’s experience in the meat area and models high-quality service and products; exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in business processes and practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed).
