As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organizational and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.
Salary and Schedule Details- Your starting hourly pay rate: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
- Paid training delivered through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

- Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours: 8–13 hours per week.
- Availability before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Utilize a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Use technology for communication with supervisors, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering required surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
- Holiday support: Additional days and extended hours during the work week surrounding holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May be required to work on the actual holiday, including weekends.
- Department resets: Participate in installations and tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.
- Team collaboration: Support other team members in their territories as part of Hallmark’s field organization.
This is a physically demanding job that requires energy and a sense of urgency. Work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms. Must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Required to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
BasicQualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Physical ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
- Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
