Commercial Sales Professional

• Sell pest management services and products to new and existing commercial customers
• Maintain customer-focused service to grow the business
• Call on hospitality, food and beverage processing, healthcare, retail, and other commercial market segments
• Complete Rentokil’s comprehensive training program
• Inspect and identify infestations or potential infestations involving organisms, insects, birds, and other pests
• Create new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, leads, referrals, and cross-selling
• Visually inspect commercial buildings for pests, pest harborage, and pest entries
• Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance based on inspection findings
• Craft territory development strategies to exceed sales targets
• Learn and maintain knowledge of programs, protocols, pricing policies, and service offerings
• Build partnerships and collaborate with internal departments to maximize growth and deliver outstanding service solutions
• Complete daily activities and sales performance tracking using the company sales CRM

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license from your current state of residence
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills
• Preferred: two years of experience in Business to Business sales
• Prospecting skills, including cold calling, lead generation, and networking, preferred
• Self-motivated, hunter’s mentality, with ability to work independently
• Must obtain required industry licenses; company provides and pays for them
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time within assigned territories
• Ability to regularly move up to 10 lbs. and frequently move 11–20 lbs.
• Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
• Comfortable working with pests and entering small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, and attics
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness
• Ability to wear PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, and work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways

Demonstrates expertise in pest management sales, including prospecting, customer service, and territory development. Capable of conducting inspections and providing tailored pest control solutions while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
