High Voltage Electrician 2 – Pearland, TX

• Travel greater than 75% on a rotational basis to support projects for North America and to support the Electrical Services hubs in North Houston, Livingston, Baltimore, and Bakersfield.
• Two‑year commitment to this role.
• Field service and repair HV electrical distribution equipment, with the primary focus on field testing and commissioning of Aggreko MV electrical specialty equipment.
• Perform MV and LV preventive maintenance (PM) inspection and testing services for electrical equipment in the shop as well as on the job site.
• Manage and provide technical support on major projects that incorporate specialty electrical distribution equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and comply with Aggreko’s safety regulation.
• May resolve or troubleshoot implementation problems.

• High school diploma, GED, or 8+ years of relevant work experience and knowledge, certified within Aggreko’s Tech Certification Program, with exposure to MV electrical installation and commissioning or a similar program in MV testing and/or construction.
• High level of knowledge of the entire electrical system, MV and LV, including key components and proper gear setup, commissioning, and start‑up procedures.
• Proven knowledge of the principles of electricity and electrical design.
• Completion of third‑party certifications within the Aggreko Training Plan (AVO) or an equivalent MV training program (company‑provided training upon hire).
• Excellent customer service skills.

• Reliable and committed to delivering quality performance.
• Ability to travel domestically, internationally, and offshore.
• Valid passport preferred, and if not in possession, a candidate will be required to apply once in the new role.
• Valid Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) preferred, and if not in possession, a candidate will be required to apply once in the new role.

• Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations if needed, and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices.
• Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground/floor level to full overhead level.
• Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand‑eye coordination, and adequate strength to safely hold tools, stair railing, or ladders.
• Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post‑offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders, and perform a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel, and squat.
