Commercial Service Technician – Commercial Kitchen Equipment & Building Systems

What You’ll DoYou’ll diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of commercial equipment while providing outstanding customer service.

Small commercial kitchen appliances

Water Heating Equipment Commercial and residential tankless water heaters

Conventional gas and electric water heaters

Preventative maintenance and descaling of tankless water heaters

Troubleshooting ignition systems, gas controls, and electrical components

Electrical & Building Systems Interior and exterior lighting repairsLED fixture, ballast, and driver replacement

Low-voltage control systems

Automatic door operatorsADA accessibility equipment and push-button systems

Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs

You’ll also perform general commercial maintenance and repairs when needed. Every day is different, and we value technicians who enjoy diagnosing problems and finding practical solutions.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience repairing commercial hot-side kitchen equipment

Has experience servicing tankless water heaters and conventional water heaters

Has strong electrical, mechanical, and gas troubleshooting skills

Can diagnose problems efficiently instead of simply replacing parts

Can read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals

Has excellent customer service and communication skills

Writes detailed service reports and documentation

Is comfortable using mobile devices to complete work orders, upload photos, and communicate with the office

Works safely and independently with minimal supervision

Is dependable, punctual, organized, and professional

Enjoys solving difficult problems and learning new equipment

Is willing to work overtime and occasional evening or emergency calls

Holds manufacturer certifications or industry certifications (preferred)
Has a valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record

Can safely lift up to 75 pounds and work in commercial environments

Preferred Experience Commercial hot-side kitchen equipment

Tankless water heaters (Navien, Rinnai, Noritz, Rheem, etc.)Commercial and residential water heaters

Gas-fired appliances

Electrical troubleshooting

Lighting systems

Low-voltage controls

Automatic doors and ADA accessibility equipment

Plumbing related to equipment repairs

General commercial maintenance and handyman skills

Experience with manufacturers such as Vulcan, Garland, South bend, Frymaster, Pitco, Blodgett, Cleveland, Rational, Alto-Shaam, Hatco, Duke, and similar commercial equipment
