Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
DIHO CONSULTING USA is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to support quality control for equipment fabrication, repairs, and modifications. This role will help ensure all welding work meets company standards and applicable codes.
Responsibilities- -Perform visual inspections of welds on equipment and fabricated components
- -Ensure welds meet quality standards, safety requirements, and job specifications
- -Review basic welding procedures and verify proper application
- -Document inspection results and maintain clear records
- -Work closely with shop personnel, welders, and management to address any issues
- -Identify defects and recommend corrective actions
- -Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
- -Experience in a shop, fabrication, or equipment environment
- -Ability to read basic blueprints and welding symbols
- -Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- -Reliable transportation
