CDL-A Truck Driver – Contract (Alvin, Texas)
Location: Alvin, Texas
Pay Range: $24–30/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift (Flexible) – 40 hrs/week. Overtime available as needed.
Benefits: Full benefits, profit sharing & 401(k) retirement plan.
Type: Local runs only – drivers are home each night.
Day to Day Responsibilities- Load, secure, and deliver material.
- Inspect delivery vehicles per DOT requirements.
- Maintain required paperwork and logs.
- Verify load accuracy.
- Ensure all loads are safely secured before departure.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with employees, management, and customers.
- Enjoy the work and maintain a positive attitude.
- Great attitude and team player.
- CDL A license.
- Ability to learn a piggyback or Princeton forklift.
- Valid driving record that meets DOT regulations.
- Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Hardworking, responsible, and motivated.
