Primary Purpose
Ride buses and assist driver to provide safe and orderly transportation of student with disabilities.
QualificationsEducation:
High School Diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Ability to operate safety equipment and adaptive equipment
- Ability to work well with children with disabilities

Working ConditionsMental Demands:
Maintain emotional control; ability to communicate effectively; ability to maintain effective control over groups of students
Physical Demands/Environmental FactorsMust be physically able to climb in and out of the school bus emergency door to perform evacuation procedures; frequent walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling; moderate lifting and carrying; work outside and inside; work around machinery with moving parts and vehicles; moderate exposure to extreme temperatures (hot) and vehicle fumes. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
