The Position – Nursery Assistant

As a Nursery Assistant, you will be working full-time in a 3–4-year-old nursery room within a primary school. You will support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Your role will include supporting children’s early communication, social development, phonics, and early maths skills, as well as encouraging independence and positive behaviour. You will help to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children feel confident to explore and learn. The role requires someone proactive, patient, and confident supporting children with varying levels of development. This is a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP.
