The Position – EYFS Teaching Assistant

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be working full-time within the nursery provision of a primary school. You will support up to 15 pupils throughout the day, providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment tailored to early years development.

Your role will include supporting learning through play, assisting with phonics, early maths, and communication development, as well as helping with personal, social, and emotional development. You will work closely with the class teacher and EYFS lead to ensure pupils are supported in line with the Early Years Framework. A proactive, patient, and caring approach is essential for this role.
