We are seeking a Junior Project Manager (Jr. PM) to support a large-scale construction data center build in Pecos, TX. This position is ideal for a candidate with early-career project management or financial coordination experience who is looking to grow within construction project leadership. The role will work closely with senior project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines, budgets, safety standards, and documentation are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Support project safety compliance and coordinate with teams to uphold Safety & Health standards
- Assist Project Management with client communication, risk reviews, and development of key project plans (execution, QA/QC, safety, staffing, procurement)
- Help manage contracts including RFP preparation, bidding support, subcontractor coordination, and change orders
- Coordinate permits, site mobilization/demobilization planning, and materials receiving/management
- Maintain project documentation including reports, schedules, cost tracking, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes
- Track budgets, timelines, and financial metrics for large-scale projects
- Verify subcontractor compliance with contracts, insurance, licensing, safety, quality, and schedule requirements
- Support audits, invoicing, progress tracking, and project closeout activities
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, construction support, or financial/project tracking roles
- Background in budgeting, timelines, or financial tracking for large-scale projects
- Procore experience strongly preferred
- OSHA 10 Certification (Required)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work on-site in Pecos, TX for extended shifts
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Experience with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects
- Experience supporting heavy electrical, hospital, airport, or other large infrastructure builds
- Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and design coordination
- On-site construction project setting
- Fast-paced and deadline-driven
- 10-hour shifts; final schedule (day vs. night) determined later in the hiring process
