Schedule: ~60 hrs/week (6 days/week, 10 hrs/day) fully onsite
OverviewWe’re hiring a hands‑on Construction Site Superintendent to support the build and commissioning of a large‑scale water treatment plant tied to a major industrial project. This is a boots‑on‑the‑ground leadership role where you’ll be actively involved in daily construction activities, working closely with crews to keep progress moving in a fast‑paced, field‑driven environment.
Project Context- Supporting the final build and commissioning phase of a water treatment facility
- High‑impact role on a time‑sensitive industrial infrastructure project
- Opportunity to make a direct impact during a critical delivery phase
- Lead daily on‑site construction operations
- Supervise and work alongside subcontractors and field crews
- Walk the site regularly to monitor progress and resolve issues in real time
- Ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Coordinate with engineering on RFIs and scope clarifications
- Conduct mechanical inspections and manage punch lists
- Champion and enforce a strong safety culture (OSHA standards)
- Run toolbox talks and immediately address unsafe conditions
- Execute against lookahead schedules and prioritize crew activity
- Coordinate logistics on materials, equipment, and deliveries
- Troubleshoot site challenges and implement practical solutions quickly
- Report daily progress, risks, and needs
- Maintain site documentation and logs
- Over 5 years of construction field experience
- Exposure to plant builds/commissioning‑phase projects, industrial, civil, or water/wastewater construction would be a plus
- Background as a Superintendent, Foreman, or hands‑on supervisor
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site logistics
- Proven ability to lead crews while remaining hands‑on
- Experience enforcing OSHA and site safety standards
- Ability to commit to full‑time, on‑site work in Pecos, TX
