Our construction client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a mission- critical $1B data center campus buildout in West Texas. In this leadership role, you'll oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing project teams, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and execution.

Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
  • Manage day- to- day project operations across office and field teams.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators.
  • Serve as the primary operational leader for assigned projects.
  • Conduct project meetings, establish milestones, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Review plans and specifications for constructability and schedule impacts.
  • Oversee project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of owner contracts and project requirements.
Pre-construction
  • Develop scope sheets and support subcontractor bidding efforts.
  • Lead constructability reviews.
  • Assist with estimating, quantity takeoffs, and project budgeting.
  • Develop project logistics plans alongside field leadership.
  • Establish trade budgets and support procurement planning.
  • Build and maintain detailed project schedules.
  • Monitor procurement activities and long- lead material deliveries.
  • Manage project budgets and perform ongoing financial forecasting.
  • Conduct monthly budget reviews with executive leadership.
  • Lead project closeout and punch list activities with a goal of zero outstanding items.
  • Build strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Mentor and develop junior project management staff.
  • Promote a collaborative, solutions- oriented project culture.
  • Represent the company professionally throughout every phase of the project.
Safety & Quality
  • Champion a strong safety culture across every project.
  • Ensure OSHA standards and company safety procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate with field leadership to conduct safety meetings and training.
  • Proactively identify and resolve jobsite safety concerns.
  • Drive quality execution and continuous improvement throughout project delivery.
Business Development
  • Support proposal development and client presentations.
  • Build and maintain industry relationships.
  • Identify new project opportunities.
  • Participate in professional organizations and networking events.
Required Qualifications
  • 7–10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Experience leading subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction documents and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Auto, CAD (preferred)
  • OSHA 30/10 certification preferred.
  • High School Diploma required;
    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
