Conducting morning safety meetings.

Maintains accurate JSAs and current records in accordance with guidelines.

Analyzes incident reports, metrics, and injury case studies in order to institute changes that lead to a safer environment.

Correct any and all safety issues and/or violations.

Advises the company’s administrative team on safety issues and compliance in specific projects and operations.

Provides Safety training for employees on policies, regulation, and procedures.

Directs monthly safety meetings.

Present yourself in a professional manner that is in line with the company culture.

Follows safety and other regulations when handling and operating equipment.

Uses equipment for its intended purpose only, protecting it from damage and misuse.

Always performs work in a safe manner.

Avoids shortcuts that increase health and safety risks to self or others.

Maintains emergency supplies and/or personal protective gear.

Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

This job operates in a construction setting outdoors, in remote locations, and routinely uses physical abilities to perform tasks throughout the construction site. Travel will be required.

This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday - Saturday from either 7am-5pm or 8am-6pm. Schedule and hours may vary based on business needs.

Experience:

1-3 years in manufacturing or construction experience in a safety position.
