What Will You Be DoingAs a Plant Operator – Electrical, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems within a continuous production or power plant environment. You will work closely with Control Room Operators and maintenance teams to monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing plant operations.
Responsibilities- Inspect electrical systems of engines and auxiliary equipment to detect faults and implement corrective or preventive actions
- Identify and report abnormalities to Control Room Operators in a timely manner
- Participate in troubleshooting activities and corrective maintenance during shifts
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance tasks as assigned
- Maintain accurate operational logs for main and auxiliary equipment
- Identify and respond appropriately to alarms, including temperature and pressure deviations
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
- Promote a safe, clean, and well‑organized plant environment
- 1+ year of experience working with electrical systems in an industrial or power plant environment
- Knowledge of electrical control systems in a continuous production or power plant setting
- Strong ability to monitor and interpret operational data
- Solid troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities
- Effective communication skills for reporting and coordination
- Ability to follow established procedures and safety standards
- High school diploma – Technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) preferred
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends
