TNAA Total Med Allied seeks a Travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Pecos, Texas. The position requires 40 hours per week in 8‑hour day shifts.
Responsibilities- Operate computed tomography equipment.
- Ensure image quality and accuracy before transmitting to physicians.
- Prepare and care for patients undergoing CT scans.
- Confirm patient identification and explain procedures.
- Interpret doctors' written instructions accurately.
- Position patients appropriately for scans.
- Administer radiocontrast agents when required.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
- Follow radiation safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Use the McKesson PACS system.
- Minimum one (1) year of CT technologist experience.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (CT) certification with registration in computed tomography.
- State‑specific licensing as required.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Additional certifications (e.g., ARRT (R)) may be required.
