Pay: $150-175k salary
Duration: Full-time (Direct Hire)
Required Qualifications
- Good technical knowledge of Gas Power Plants business, products and processes
- Preferred minimum 10 years relevant work experience in a similar role within power industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Lead and manage the site organization and scope of site activities for the project to support customer during installation and commissioning of supplied equipment & service as per contractual requirements within budget
- Protect company interests and advise customer on required levels of quality execution progress and EHS for the fulfilment of works to meet expectations
- The site manager is the technical focal point for the shaft line and responsible for the installation & commissioning, technical compliance of supplied equipment & associated auxiliaries in Open Combined Cycle Power Plant configuration
- Prepare assignment with Project Team (Site management, civil, M&E, Commissioning, Regional Leader, Project Manager / Director, Logistics) before site mobilization
- Complete site manager checklist and project start-up checklist
- Review technical contract requirements, interfaces, major equipment installation
- Review project documentation, logistics plans, drawings, specifications
- Evaluate construction requirements (tools, heavy lift, access plans)
- Review installation methods with field engineers
- Lead pre-installation meetings with customer
- Validate material delivery schedules and site logistics
- Establish site organization chart, staffing, and working hours
- Review site regulations and request changes if required
- Coordinate infrastructure setup, accommodations, vehicles, and support
- Organize subcontractor/vendor kickoff meetings
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting systems are in place
- Lead site team execution and proactively resolve issues
- Support customer in achieving milestones and minimizing delays
- Coordinate with construction and commissioning managers
- Authority to stop unsafe or non-compliant work
- Coordinate heavy equipment positioning and site logistics
- Ensure coordination between on-site and off-site teams
- Drive transition from installation to commissioning
- Participate in inspections and ensure quality compliance
- Ensure timely mobilization of commissioning teams
- Coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
- Lead commissioning of shaft line equipment
- Ensure compliance with permit-to-work and LOTO procedures
- Lead and manage all site personnel
- Oversee staffing, mobilization, and demobilization
- Track resource usage and communicate with stakeholders
- Manage timesheets, performance, and staffing plans
- Maintain site organization structure
- Coordinate schedules, vacations, and coverage
- Execute cost control and change management processes
- Track extra work, change orders, and cost impacts
- Approve expenditures within scope
- Coordinate billing and cost agreements with customer
- Act as primary representative to customer and local authorities
- Lead site meetings (daily, weekly progress)
- Maintain internal alignment across teams
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Maintain logs, documentation, and reporting for risks and disputes
- Deliver final site close-out report and lessons learned
- Ensure EHS reporting and escalation of critical issues
- Ensure efficient tracking and closure of punch list items
- Drive completion before commissioning
- Coordinate transition to warranty phase
- Overall authority for site safety
- Enforce EHS standards and compliance
- Authority to stop work if unsafe
- Lead audits, reporting, and safety culture initiatives
- Ensure PPE, LOTO, and safety procedures are followed
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and QA/QC processes
- Manage non-conformances and corrective actions
- Maintain quality documentation and records
- Participate in quality reviews and inspections
- Establish and maintain site documentation systems
- Ensure accurate record keeping and drawing updates
- Capture and apply lessons learned
- Maintain records for future project improvement
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
- Coordinate with engineering on technical compliance
- Support audits and regulatory requirements
- Oversee logistics, inventory, and material tracking
