Overview
Registered Nurse – Dialysis travel assignment in Pecos, Texas. Start 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,142 to $2,245 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift pattern: three 12‑hour shifts on a Mon/Wed/Fri schedule, times typically 5:00 am–5:30 pm or 7:00 am–7:30 pm depending on census. Setting: outpatient dialysis clinic housed within a rural critical access hospital.

07/20/2026 - Facility/work setting: outpatient dialysis clinic in a rural critical access hospital
- Deliver RN‑directed dialysis care to adult patients in an outpatient clinic, with an expected 95% outpatient caseload and rare 1:1 dialysis in a patient room if admitted.
- Conduct comprehensive pre‑, intra‑, and post‑dialysis assessments; monitor vital signs, access sites, and fluid balance; document findings in the TIME EMR.
- Administer prescribed medications and contribute to care planning in collaboration with the nephrology team.
- Set up and operate Braun Dialog dialysis machines, monitor machine performance, troubleshoot alarms, and ensure proper circuit function.
- Coordinate with 2–3 PCTs and the nursing team to manage patient flow for a 15‑patient census, maintaining appropriate staffing and patient safety.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols; participate in monthly staff meetings (generally 2 hours on a Tuesday) and integrate care plans including routine foot checks.
- Active RN license to practice in Texas.
- BLS and CPR certification required.
- Minimum 2 years dialysis experience.
- Ability to work in an outpatient dialysis clinic setting; familiarity with Braun Dialog machines and TIME EMR (CKG‑TIME) preferred.
- No additional education or certification requirements beyond the active Texas RN license; ability to work across varied shift times as census dictates.
- 36‑hour guaranteed weekly schedule.
