Retail Scan Associate; Pecos, TX

This is a permanent PART-TIME role.

Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays, in aisle locations, and on aisle end caps. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve sales performance for the product and retailer.

These positions estimate anywhere from 7 to 12 hours per week, for all stores, depending on store size and project requirements. The role runs for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.

The work is performed using a downloadable app on a mobile phone. Associates scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store and provide the quantity of about 45% of the products scanned.

• Complete Display Scanning for the entire store each week, which can take several hours.

• Perform Custom Projects, which provide additional details about products in main stocking locations. These projects occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work for each store.

• Adhere to weekly deadlines, ensuring data is delivered to clients on time.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi
• Must be tech savvy
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
