Salary: $13 an Hour

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing excellent customer service. You will be the first point of contact for customers as they make their purchases, so a positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, providing correct change and receipts.
• Ensure that the register area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policies.
• Answer customer questions about products, prices, and store policies.
• Assist with stocking and maintaining area cleanliness.
• Ensure proper security measures are followed to prevent theft.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward customers and coworkers.
• Adhere to all company policies, including those related to safety and hygiene.
• Support other store functions as needed, such as bagging purchases or helping customers locate items.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous cashier or retail experience (preferred).
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and team members.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift light to moderate weight.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to stand, bend, and reach for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
