Field Technician

Field Technician 1 provides delivery and setup of the company’s rental equipment to customer locations and performs preventative maintenance and service on equipment in the field in a safe and efficient manner.

• Provide professional conduct, demonstrating integrity.
• Deliver, set up, swap, and fuel equipment at customer locations.
• Operate company vehicles, pulling trailers and equipment in accordance with policies and safety procedures.
• Complete starting and charging repairs on ICE (internal combustible engine) powered equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service on equipment.
• Use all electrical tools, safety devices, and equipment per policy and safety procedures.
• Follow procedures to complete Short Service Employee requirements.
• Complete all required monthly safety and equipment‑related trainings.
• Answer company‑issued cell phone during on‑call hours in accordance with company and safety policies.
• Perform any other duties, responsibilities or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; some college preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and maintain insurability with company insurance.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience.
• Ability to drive long distances/periods in company vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Understanding of basic maintenance concepts for light to moderate repairs.
• Effective communication with co‑workers, customers, and management.
• Reading, writing, and speaking English to a level where verbal and written instructions are understood.

• Driver’s License.
