Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our clinical leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate nursing professional who is committed to clinical excellence, staff development, and high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing environment.
The ADON plays a key role in supporting the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of resident care.
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery
- Help manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical workflows
- Monitor documentation, care plans, and regulatory compliance
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Assist with survey preparedness and regulatory audits
- Support staff education, mentorship, and professional development
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting
- Experience as ADON, Unit Manager, Nurse Supervisor, or similar leadership role preferred
- Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead teams and drive quality clinical outcomes
Salary:
Up to $130,000 per year (Based on Experience)
