The Commercial Lines Quality Assurance Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accuracy and consistency of commercial insurance policies, underwriting files, and related documentation. This position serves as a subject matter expert in quality standards and works closely with underwriting, operations and training teams to uphold organizational expectations for service excellence and risk integrity.

• Leads and maintains the Commercial Lines quality assurance program
• Develops scorecards to track and analyze premium leakage
• Conducts operational reviews for underwriters
• Identifies trends, training needs, and improvement opportunities through audit findings
• Collaborates with leadership to implement corrective actions and monitor progress

• Supports initiatives that increase straight-through processing while maintaining underwriting discipline

• Presents findings, trends, and recommendations to leadership to inform process and training priorities
• Drives continuous improvement efforts focused on consistency, accuracy, and customer experience
• Partners with training teams to integrate quality insights into ongoing underwriter and processor development programs
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in CL underwriting, quality assurance, or audit leadership

• CPCU, CIC, or similar designation preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of:

• Commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and risk evaluation principles

Demonstratedskill in:

• Communication, leadership, and relationship building
• Analytical and strategic thinking

Demonstrated ability to:

• Interpret data and provide actionable insights

$ 94,000 - $129,000 per year

• This range is based on the expected level of experience and skills for this position. Final compensation will depend on individual qualifications.
