Senior Loss Control Consultant - Chicagoland​/Northern, IL

• Conduct comprehensive loss control evaluations for commercial accounts across multiple lines of business
• Identify hazards and recommend practical solutions to mitigate loss potential
• Assist Underwriting in evaluating new business submissions and participate in new business meetings
• Analyze loss trends and recommend safety programs to reduce losses
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance underwriting profitability and service delivery

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred)
• Typically requires 5+ years of experience in commercial lines loss control, risk engineering, or safety consulting
• Experience with multi-line commercial exposures, including property, liability, auto, and workers’ compensation
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex risks and deliver practical solutions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences

• Professional designations such as Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and maintain strong, professional relationships
• In-depth knowledge of industry safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Experience in providing training and coaching on workplace safety and compliance
• Ability to travel overnight as needed
