Team Member Nights - Pekin, IL

Nippon Sanso Matheson specializes in the manufacture and distribution of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide. We maintain a reliable network of 40 dry ice distribution facilities located strategically across our service area, ensuring rapid response to customers' needs.

Our Team Members support manufacturing processes to achieve optimal levels of safety, quality, and productivity. The position is a 12‑hour shift, either 7 AM–7 PM, with every other weekend and scheduled holidays.
NEW HIGHER WAGES:
Starting Wage: $20.00/hour with a $2.00 Night Shift Differential.

Responsibilities include:

• Packing and wrapping ice to customer specifications
• Shoveling and packaging dry ice during the manufacturing process
• Labeling, strapping and staging dry ice for loading
• Cleaning and sanitizing large industrial containers
• Safe forklift operation
• Moving between departments or positions as directed by supervisors and leads

• Able to frequently lift 30 lbs while twisting, reaching and bending
• Able to stand for a 12‑hour shift in a non‑climate‑controlled environment
• Demonstrated ability to work on a team
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

• Experience required / preferred: 1–3 years. Desired food‑safety experience.
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities: speak up and act with integrity, watch out for others, follow directions, be punctual, and follow safe work practices.

• Frequently lift 30 lbs while twisting, reaching, and bending
• Stand for 12‑hour shifts in non‑climate‑controlled environments
• Operate in extreme cold, extreme heat, humidity, wet conditions, and continuous noise and hazards
