Department DetailsExperienced RNs are invited to join the Solutions By Sanford team.
We are looking for RN’s that meet the following qualifications:
- At least one year of experience.
- At least six months of travel experience.
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for.
- You will be paid weekly; your stipend is included in the weekly pay rate.
- You will also be eligible for Sanford benefits.
- Contracts are 14 weeks with the option to extend or move to another Sanford site.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. The RN collaborates with other inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. The RN demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge, and utilizes appropriate age and population‑specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting.
The RN cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up as patients move along the continuum of care. The RN is responsible for the planning and coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions, functioning within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules governing practice and licensure in the state of practice.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA).
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Holds an unencumbered RN license with the state board of nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring, or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
