Overview
Carle Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Outpatient Gastroenterology team in Peoria and Pekin, Illinois.
Opportunity Details- Established outpatient-only practice
- Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, opportunity to work 4, 10‑hour shifts
- Initial training will take place in Peoria, IL, and transition to provide services in Pekin, IL
- The GI Outpatient APP will
- Perform H&P on new patients and see return patients for various GI conditions including: autoimmune, hepatitis, viral hepatitis, IBS, Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, gastritis, PUD, GERD, anemia, dysphagia, pancreatitis, diverticulitis, celiac disease, EPI
- Job functions include: ordering and interpretation of labs / imaging results, prescribing medication, ordering EGD / Colonoscopy / ERCP /EUS, and following up after procedures to review pathology with patient.
- Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

- Master's degree in nursing with Acute Care/Adult/Geriatric/Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- GI clinicals or work experience is a plus, but not required
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse OR physician assistant licensure
- Opportunity to start immediately upon credentialing & privileging

Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation range for this position is $60.72 – $78.94/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
