Part-Time Retail Associate

Overview

This is a part‑time position with an hourly wage of $15.00. The Retail Associate supports the store management team in achieving operational goals by performing a variety of retail tasks. The associate may be called upon to serve in one of these roles:

• Cashier
• Textiles or Wares Producer
• Donation Door Attendant
• eCommerce Producer
• e‑Books Producer
• Rack or Cart Runner

• Cashier: Rings up customer orders, maintains a balanced drawer, follows all cash handling procedures, provides information about Goodwill programs, directs higher‑level questions, and maintains cleanliness of the sales floor.
• Textiles or Wares Producer: Sorts product to identify quality and value, checks for defects, cleans as needed, barrels, tags, and hangs textiles or wares, produces 100 items per hour for wares or 85 for textiles, uses pallet jack and conveyor belt as required.
• Donation Door Attendant: Accepts donations, keeps the donation door clear, sorts and distributes products, maintains a clean backroom, loads and unloads trucks, uses heavy equipment such as pallet jack, double stacker, floor scrubber, and hydraulic lift.
• eCommerce Producer: Identifies and secures items for Click Goodwill, monitors market value via eBay and other sites, tags and itemizes items, packs products onto pallets, wraps and ships totes, meets the store budget on tote shipments.
• e‑Books Producer: Scans books, decides shipment to Click Goodwill or in‑store display, prints inventory sheets, packs, seals, and ships totes, identifies top sellers, manages an organized in‑store display.
• Rack and Cart Runner: Checks racks and carts for quality, properly sizes and merchandises, purges the sales floor, maintains orderly sales floor, puts away carts, stocks shelves, runs one textile rack/wares cart per 15 minutes, updates daily production sheet.
