Position Summary

Diagnose, adjust, repair, maintain, or replace components applicable in the petroleum industry.

Essential Functions
  • Troubleshoot and repair fueling systems.
  • Install, pipe and wire petroleum fueling equipment.
  • Program electronic fuel dispensers, monitoring equipment and point of sale systems.
  • Analyze electronic and mechanical issues and make correct repairs.
  • Install new equipment following repair, test operation, and adjust as necessary.
  • Examine and listen to equipment, read inspection reports, and confer with customers to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
  • Reassemble equipment following repair, test operation, and adjust as necessary.
  • Test and replace electrical components and wiring.
  • Repair or replace defective parts.
  • Operate company vehicle.
  • Record details of repairs made, and parts used.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience

Will be trained to acquire state, OSHA and individual equipment manufacturers certifications. A valid driver's license with an insurable driving record is required. Gilbarco experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Based on customer location and work needed. Working in all-weather types.
