Family Physician (Adhoc project assignments) - United States
Locations:
- North Dakota, Utah, Alabama, Mississippi, Nebraska, Kentucky, Wisconsin and Maryland
Seeking family physicians (MD or DO) to join a team of independent contractors for an upcoming clinical study focused on rare neurological diseases, particularly seizure disorders. Physicians will collaborate with nursing staff during visits for patients enrolled in the study and conduct clinical assessments as part of a comprehensive care approach.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct visits for clinical assessments in conjunction with nursing staff.
- Perform thorough physical examinations focusing on neurological health and seizure disorders.
- Participate in a total of 9 visits per patient in the calendar year.
- Maintain consistent communication with the clinical team and collaborate with other members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Adhere to all study protocols, guidelines, and compliance regulations.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Clinical experience in paediatrics or related fields; experience with neurological conditions is a plus but not required.
- Certifications: Current medical license; PALS certification is preferred but not mandatory (recent certification is a plus).
- Must have a strong commitment to patient‑centred care and the ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff.
- No prior clinical research experience is necessary; GCP training will be provided.
- This is a contractual position; physicians will be paid on a daily rate (guaranteed a full day’s pay regardless of visit duration).
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate visit requirements over a 26‑month period.
- Potential for further involvement in subsequent studies, depending on success and patient needs.
