Position: *NEW* Speech Language Pathologist Needed in Pelham, Massachusetts
* NEW* Speech Language Pathologist Needed in Pelham, Massachusetts

Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will work with students across K-12 to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse student population and will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis:
    Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Therapeutic Intervention:
    Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language needs.
  • IEP Development:
    Collaborate with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to create and review IEPs for students with communication disorders.
  • Progress Monitoring:
    Regularly assess and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Consultation:
    Provide guidance and support to teachers and parents on strategies to support students' communication needs.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate and confidential records of student assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
