The Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced litigator to join our firm on a clear

Shareholder Track

. You will lead cases from inception through resolution, blending high-level legal strategy with the kind, supportive environment we are known for.

Though we expect high-quality work, we don't expect perfection. We believe in mentorship and helping you level up. We’ll never yell, talk down to you, or treat you poorly. We are looking for a long-term partner to help us continue building something special in Madison.

The Compensation Model

We’ve moved away from the "billable mill" to a model that rewards your actual output and business development:

  • Generous Hourly Pay: You are paid handsomely for every hour you bill,
    regardless of collection
    .
  • Origination:10% of collections bonus for clients you bring to the firm.
  • Case Management:5% of collections bonus for managing matters.
  • Discretionary Bonus:Extra recognition for firm contributions and exceptional work.
Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a bright, motivated litigator with3+ years of experience
. You should have excellent writing, communication, and critical thinking skills, as well as a strong work ethic. Because we are kind, considerate, humble, and easygoing people, you must be as well. You should be comfortable in the courtroom, but most of the work will be writing, reading, speaking, listening, and thinking. You must be licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin.

What We Offer
  • No Minimum

    Hours:

    No yearly billable requirements. You manage your desk.
  • Unlimited PTO: We trust you to manage your time and your cases.
  • Flexible Hybrid Model: We require only 2 days/week in office; one of those days must be Monday for our weekly firm meeting.
  • Holiday Shutdown: The office is closed for the Christmas/New Year week so everyone can truly recharge.
  • Professional Support: The firm pays for your Bar Dues, CLEs, and other professional expenses. Paralegal assistance as well.
  • Parental Leave: 4+ weeks of paid parental leave.
