REMCO, a Smart Care company, is looking for a Purchasing Specialist to help drive procurement excellence, optimize inventory, and build strong supplier partnerships that keep our nationwide service organization running efficiently.

What You'll Do

As a Purchasing Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting procurement and inventory operations across our service organization by:

  • Managing transactional purchasing activities to support commodity requirements
  • Monitoring purchased, consigned, and used inventory to ensure accuracy and accountability
  • Maintaining procurement costs, supplier pricing, and delivery schedules
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Resolving supplier performance issues and escalating concerns when necessary
  • Supporting sourcing initiatives and continuous process improvements
  • Advising internal teams on procurement best practices
  • Assisting with forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain optimization
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain experience
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/business systems
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
  • Institute for Supply Management (ISM) certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Experience working with inventory forecasting, supplier management, or logistics
