Maintenance Supervisor

Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations. This pivotal role involves leading a team of technicians to maintain machinery and tools, ensuring both safety and efficiency.

• Lead, train, and mentor the maintenance team, encouraging professional growth and adherence to company standards.
• Evaluate team needs, assign responsibilities, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, offering guidance and support to technicians.
• Work closely with production management to reduce downtime and swiftly manage emergency repairs.
• Identify cost-saving strategies to enhance production processes and equipment performance while managing inventory effectively.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and preventive maintenance standards, maintaining detailed records.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability, reinforcing company safety policies and best practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by upholding 5S principles.
• Adhere to all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.

• Experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably within a foundry environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Proven leadership skills in team management, including hiring, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Technical accreditation or completion of a skilled trades program from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in maintenance operations.
