** Job Details:
** This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
* Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
* Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet.
* Requires standing for long periods of time.
* Position requires standing, walking, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, pulling or lifting over 40 lbs. and climbing up and down stairs and ladders above 10 feet.
* Position requires being a member of the Plant Hazmat Team.
* Requires completing computer-based training and entering work into the SAP system.
* Position requires using LOTO, Fall Protection, Ladders, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks.
* Proficiency in reading and writing, ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
* Current maintenance techs will have first consideration over other applicants.
* The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
