Gold Leaf Print & Packaging is seeking an experienced HP Indigo Digital Press Operator to join our production team in Pelham, Alabama. This role is ideal for a skilled press operator with hands‑on experience running HP Indigo equipment in a commercial print, label, or packaging environment.

We’re looking for someone who can confidently manage press operation from setup through production, maintain consistent color and print quality, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and help keep jobs moving efficiently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

• Operate an HP Indigo 6K digital press to produce high-quality print jobs for label and packaging applications
• Set up, run, and monitor jobs to ensure color accuracy, registration, and overall print quality throughout the production run
• Perform routine maintenance, calibrations, and troubleshooting to keep the press operating at peak performance
• Review job specifications and files prior to production to ensure readiness and accuracy
• Make press adjustments as needed to maintain quality, efficiency, and consistency
• Work closely with prepress, finishing, and production team members to ensure jobs move smoothly through the workflow
• Identify and resolve print or equipment issues quickly to minimize downtime and waste
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate job status, issues, or maintenance needs to leadership
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with company safety and quality standards

• Previous experience operating an HP Indigo 6K, 12K, or similar HP Indigo press is required
• Strong understanding of digital print production, press operation, color management, and quality control
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, print-quality, and workflow issues independently
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality work
• Experience working in a commercial print, label, packaging, or high-volume production environment
• Ability to manage multiple jobs, prioritize tasks, and stay organized in a deadline-driven setting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with other production team members
• Willingness to assist with workflow coordination and support surrounding production needs when needed
• HP Indigo Certification is a plus
• Finishing and/or label press experience is a strong plus
